This Work is my entry to the Dark Shadows Contest.
◉ About:
- Mixed media: Pencil, Watercolor, Prismacolor + Retouch with Corel Painter Essentials 4
- Size: 35in x 35in.
- Approximate time: A week.
- I actually decided to do the sides of his face so people get to see his full perspective. So pretty much, it is a portrait of portraits! I have always love doing many faces in a single work.
◉ Thoughts:
- I was so excited when I found out that this movie was coming out and that Johnny Depp would play the role of Barnabas Collins! I truly love Johnny, he is so dreamy and beautiful and... Yeah anyways, I think he is such a good actor! And also, when I found out he, himself, was going to judge all the artworks, I almost got a heart attack.
- I hope you guys like it! It really took me a lot of planning to create this, and many hours of stress, haha. Good luck and the best wishes to all of you that entered this competition.
